The American Cinematheque is a non-profit organization here in Los Angeles that is committed to publicly showing visual media in all its forms. In order to do this, they are continuously hosting movie screenings around Los Angeles, almost always with a special event to accompany it, such as a Q&A or a discussion panel. They recently started calling the local Los Feliz Theater their home, where they are regularly hosting all sorts of special screenings at incredibly reasonable prices to bring the wonders of film to the neighbourhood. Whether it is an exciting new release being introduced by the director or a nostalgic classic that comes with a panel with one of the cast members, there are always enticing things going on at the historic Los Feliz Theater.
