MEDIA ADVISORY:
Los Angeles, CA: Youth representing more than fifty (50) community-based organizations from every corner of Los Angeles will speak at a press conference at Los Angeles City Hall on Thursday morning, April 1, 2021 to encourage the Los Angeles City Council to support creation of the first ever Youth Development Department in the City of Los Angeles. The department will provide critically important services specifically for youth and young adults ages 10 to 25. The young people will be joined by Mayor Eric Garcetti and the sponsor of the motion to create this department, City Council-member Monica Rodriguez.
