Do you miss your friends? Are you in need of some sort of socializing but want to continue to be responsible in terms of social distancing? Well, what a lot of people have been doing is meeting those not in their household in a park. Here, in the outdoors and implementing the right distance, you can rest assured that you are not being irresponsible. If you are in Silver Lake, then a great place to do so is the Silver Lake Meadows park.
Socially Distant Park Hangouts
As you probably know, Silver Lake Meadows is a nice little pocket of green in the middle of the neighborhood. This park may not be the largest or the one with the most stuff to do. However, this is exactly what makes this park such an ideal place for socially distant gatherings. Not a lot of people will be there, making it great to hang out in these times. Find a nice spot on the grassy park and spread out a blanket, maybe with some coffee or takeout you got on the way there. Once your friend arrives, have them spread their own blanket at least six feet away from you. Now you are ready to have a responsible hang out with that friend you haven’t seen in a while!
Enjoy a Nice Day at the Silver Lake Meadows
What makes the Silver Lake Meadows such a great place for hanging out is not just the open green space. This little park grants you a great view of the Silver Lake Reservoir, which will be quite pleasant on a nice day. Not only that but opposite to the reservoir, across the street, you will find Richard Neutra’s gorgeous house and studio, a landmark of Los Angeles modernist architecture. So what are you waiting for? Head over to the meadows at 2300 Silver Lake Blvd. this weekend.
