Atwater Village – “I was completely shocked” Morris confesses. She later adds “It is humbling. I am very honored to be in the company of those other women”.

Courtney Morris, a thirty-five year old woman who has lived in Atwater Village for the last twelve years, received Congressman Adam Schiff’s call a few days ago to find out some marvelous news: she was one out of fourteen ladies recognized for community involvement.

Before receiving Congressman Adam Schiff’s call last week, Morris had been serving on the Atwater Village Neighborhood Council for four consecutive terms, and had also been Board Co-Chair for almost nine years.
