A Los Angeles COVID relief fund has been started in an effort to ensure support to those who really need it in times like these. The goal of the LA Regional COVID Fund is to provide grants and resources for micro-entrepreneurs, small businesses, and non-profits across the county. Here’s how you can learn more about what they are doing and access their help.

Los Angeles COVID Relief Fund

The City of Los Angeles, along with Los Angeles County and philanthropic organizations, have partnered up in order to establish a COVID-19 relief fund. The regional fund will offer loan and grant resources to micro-entrepreneurs, small businesses, and non-profits across Los Angeles. To do so, they have designed three different approaches to providing assistance.

  • Grants – The fund will deploy $3 million in grants. These will be available at $5,000 for micro-entrepreneurs and $15,000 for small businesses and non-profits. The portal to apply for the current phase of these will be opened until tomorrow, August 7th, at midnight.
  • Loans – The fund will offer flexible loans and micro-loans to small businesses, micro-entrepreneurs, and non-profits in the city.
  • Coaching and Technical Assistance – With the help of community organizations, the fund will provide free coaching and technical assistance to applicants seeking support. This will be available throughout the different stages of the process.
